Start a Blog and Make Money Properly
To Start A Blog and make money requires us to visit our passions, interests, hobbies and causes before we blog. The reason for this is, Blogging requires us to consistently write and add unique and fresh content to our blog. Readers of today have copious amounts of Blogs to choose from and gathering a loyal following about your blog can be a challenge.
So before you start a blog, with the intent of making money, please consider the following. It is easier for us to write content and provide valuable information on that which we are passionate about. Also always remain true to your values, example “You would not sell fishing rods on your blog if you were a vegetarian”.
Once we have ascertained what we are going to specialise in we can now start to look at if there are viable ways to monetize our blog. I can categorically state that there are ways to start a blog and make money. The challenge is when you start a blog no one on the internet knows about you and your blog and without certain skills your blog will float around cyber space unguided.
The skills I speak of will ensure that when you start a blog, you are well aware of what it is you are doing and where you are going and making money will follow. To start a blog and make money requires us to completely have to understand the mechanics involved in Internet Marketing as the make money part is very competitive and if there is a dollar to be made trust me people are there already.
The blogging part is relatively simple, there are 100′s of Blogging Sites out there for free and you could have a blog on the net in a matter of minutes, getting traffic to that blog is another kettle of fish altogether.
To name but a few areas you will be discovering as your blogging skills develop, I have come up with a brief list of some of the skills and techniques you will have to be quite good at.
Article Marketing
SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
KeywordsResearchTraffic
HTMl (some)
SERPS
Pinging
Mailing lists etc etc
Proper blog set up is vital, optimised for specific keyword searches with the correct content and sales copy is a skill learned after writing many blogs. After about a year of solid blogging you will start making some decent money. The way you monetize your blog is irrelevant because whether you are making money through adsense, affiliate products, pay per lead, your own products or service if you do not have traffic you will not make money.
So, to start a blog and make money requires us to undergo an education in the area of Internet Marketing. To fast track your blogging education and your desire to make money, please visit my blog on how to start a blog and make money and have a read. That blog is testimony to the skills I’ve learned so far about blogging.

Accidental Genius $17.99 When it comes to creating ideas, we hold ourselves back. That’s because inside each of us is an internal editor whose job is to forever polish our thoughts, so we sound smart and in control, and so that we fit into society. But what happens when we encounter problems where such conventional thinking fails us? How to get unstuck?  For Mark Levy, the answer is freewriting, a technique he’s used for years to solve all types of business problems, and generate ideas for books, articles and blog posts. Freewriting is deceptively simple: Start writing as fast as you can, for as long as you can, about a subject you care deeply about, while ignoring the standard rules of grammar and spelling. Your internal editor won’t be able to keep up with your output, and will be temporarily shunted into the background. You’ll now be able to think more honestly and resourcefully than before, and will generate breakthrough ideas and solutions that you couldn’t have created any other way. Levy shares six freewriting secrets designed to knock out your editor and let your genius run free. He also includes fifteen problem-solving and creativity-stimulating principles you can use if you need more firepower—seven of which are new to this edition—and stories of problems he and others have solved through freewriting. Also new to this edition: an extensive section on how to refine your freewriting into something you can share with the world. Although Levy originally taught freewriting as a private brainstorming technique, over the years he and his clients have found that, with some tweaking, it’s a great way to generate content for books, articles, and other thought leadership pieces. |
